This is a photograph taken of my little sister at my aunts wedding about 5 years agp. Looking at this photograph after having learned quite a bit about the importance of communicating a message through the way light is angled, my perception has changed. While this is natural lighting form the sun to most people would only give an estimate of the time of day, it also creates just enough shadow to the edges and bottom of the right side of her face and neck that me show content, but also something hidden. This picture was taken shortly after we almost lost my sister to meningococcal meningitis.
