Hi class, I'd like to share this picture that was posted on instagram taken by Paul Kennedy. This shot captures a glimpse of the magical world that American Idiot. I'm on costume crew and unfortunatly am not able to write about it for our paper. In this picture you see the color scheme of the entire show. The show used black, white, and red hues. Specifically, the lighting and projections designers in this scene coordinated the use of red. There are floor lights that shine through vents on the stage. In this scene the cast is praising St. Jimmy, Johnny's alter ego. RED probably signifues the danger that lies with St. Jimmy.
