A Lovely light after getting love advice from an old Italian sailor

So have  and seven of your friends  ever trusted an old sailor with tiny finishing boats to show you around to all the cool secret caves and cliff of a southern Italian island? No ? well let me tell you its amazing and terrifying at the same time. I took this photo when we had finally returned to the main land; the sky had finally cleared up and the sun was peaking through the coast. It was warm and inviting and all I wanted to do was take a long nap. I had to take this photo without actually looking in the direction of the light because I value my eyesight but whatever permanent damage I may have obtained from adjusting the lens was worth it. The water is a neutral blue in this shot and the light is filtering through the green plant life in the bottom the photo so you have a kaleidoscope of vibrant greens and yellows. although it is obscured partially The light is direct and brightens up everything it touches. The old sailor had given me some beautiful advice on love and relationships because he had mentioned his anniversary was coming up. I had told him that I was the perfect example of being always  lucky in the game but unlucky when it comes to love. And with his wise words of wisdom ringing in my ears I watched this sunset: " you'll know they're the right person when you can talk to them about anything, thats how you'll know you get along". So when I think of all the heartbreak and unrequited feelings in my early twenties ill think of the light from this sunset.
