Central Park Lighting

Man, there is just something about Central Park and the way the natural light of the sun reflects all of its beautiful greenery. I have always been fascinated with how much the colors pop and how well lit every tree and plant and shrub looks. The openness of the park's landscape gives an even wash of light when the sun is at its peak. This photo was taken midday, almost exactly a year ago, during the solar eclipse. Perhaps that is why the grass looks so green, but I remember the light that day radiating utter beauty. This picture will always make me smile because it captures a moment of warmth and radiation. It is truly amazing what light can do to the world.
