Nightime Lights

Hey, everyone I'm Lucy and I'd like to share a picture from my summer trip to Amsterdam. In this picture I attempted to photograph the reflection from the buldings in the canal; using my phone camera. I find it intersting that the hotel neon sign reflects blue despite it actually being white. I'm not sure what causes the color change. As we walked back to the train station I was stopped by the glimmering water. The bright lights of the buildings reflect so brightly onto the water; like creating a upside down building. I was compelled to take this picture because of the strenghth of the light. At this time of night the city was lonesome and yet I felt a warmth that was provided by the street lights and building lights.
