A few weeks ago I got to see one of my favorite bands, August Burns Red, at the House of Blues San Diego. I took several videos (I couldn't figure out how to post them) But the production team did a fantastic job coordinating the moving lights and the LED logo with the music. They are a heavy metal band and as such have a ton of large bass drops that the lights were matched with. I had a very positive experience at this show. The breakdown moments were paired with epic lighting cues that I can honestly say gave me the greatest catharsis at a live show I've ever experienced. It was a very flashy production, but very expertly cued to serve the exact purpose they set out to serve.
